Recycle Craft

I love to recycle and today I'm sharing some really simple recycle craft projects I have done.

First project is this box for storing cards. It's made using a cardboard box and then covered it with wrapping paper.

This one is also a recycle of cardboard box and old calender pages. Those calender pages were blank on one side so can be used as a notepad.

Inside of the recycle notepad...

Third one is a To Dd list pad made using printer paper that were printed only on one side.

Diwali Card

I made another Diwali card and I made it as much glittery, shiny and sparkly as I could.

This paper is very pretty, it has felt like texture and has glitter design on it. Diya is outlined by half pearls, flame is made with glitter foam. Made a border using purple texture paper and added mesh trim on it.

'Happy Diwali' is written using glitter glue. Usually, I stick to one, either silver or gold colors on any project but here I have added silver, gold, pearl and everything. Oh, I left gem stones!

As it wasn't possible to make envelope or write message on texture paper so I used patterned paper for that.

Have a Happy Diwali!

Diwali Card

It's time to share what I created for Diwali ..

I'm happy that the Ganesha drawing turned out nice so I made it the focal point of the card.  This pattern paper I picked because I thought it looks ethnic and would be perfect for Diwali.

'Happy Diwali' is written using the glitter glue. A card is not complete until it has a matching envelope.

It is so much fun to make cards for any festival, I mean it becomes a part of the festivities and I enjoy doing it.

Making Notepads

My latest passion is making notepads. At first I made one notepad but then I liked it so much I had to make more.

These notepads are good for making notes also for drawing as I used drawing quality paper.

I used Velcro for closure. Sample drawing..

This one is little black book ;) lol ..

I stitched a bunch of papers to bind in the book and used the corrugated cardboard as the cover.

Aren't these pretty and addicting to make..

TP color pencil holder

I have started collecting TP rolls and I searched a lot to find what I should make with them.  I realized most of the TP roll projects were centered for little kids who would have fun with animal shapes and stuff like that. I wanted something that would be useful for me.

Finally, I choose this design that is useful for me to store colored pencils.

I have many more TP rolls and I have no idea what I'm going to use them for. If you have any ideas then please do share.

I have tried to make it look like a pond. Don't know if you can guess or not but that blue color shows water in a pond and then some flowers floating in the pond.

Love <3
