Explosion Box

My first explosion box.. I don't know why I didn't try making one earlier but now that I have made one I can say.. it is A LOT of FuN !! 

Kept the theme floral with lots flowers and butterflies.  

Inside it has a gift box.. 

Lots of space to right messages.. 

2013 Diwali Cards

In the spirit of Diwali I took out all the ethnic looking papers I had, plus glitter and made a few Diwali cards. Diwali or any other festival is not complete until we make some cards, isn't it?   

I hope you all have a wonderful Diwali and a prosperous year ahead. 

Purse Favour Box

This tini-tiny favour box in shape of purse is so cute, looks really yummy when filled up with chocolates :) 

Shayari Scrapbook

Here's a mini scrapbook for shayari which I made for a friend.  

I also made a heart shaped box to keep the heart shape scrapbook in.

 I think it will be more interesting to write/read shayari from a pretty scrapbook.

 I chose different colors of sheets to make pages for the scrapbook so it gives a cool look when seen from side.

Potluck Menu & Labels

For the potluck at work I made Menu card and dish labels. 

These labels can be reused for the next potluck, all I have to do it paste a new/blank image on top of it.

Egg carton - Jewelry Boxes

I recycled egg cartons and turned them into jewelry boxes.  First I painted the cartons in different vibrant colors.  Then I covered and decorated the top with pattern paper and handmade flowers. Finally added shinny heart stickers and Voila'! I had beautiful jewelry boxes at almost no cost!  They make wonderful gifts for friends as well.

I sent this project pictures as an entry for DIY section in The Times of India and Yeepee!!! my project was selected ..

Birthday Girl

I made a Birthday card for a friend ..colored the girl with some pencil colors and markers but I forgot to take picture after adding the sentiment.

little Birdie

I made this card with little birdie on it that says thank you.. 

I used eraser and rubbed the corners of the pattern paper which gives it a little faded look .. these flowers are handmade.. and bird image I printed directly on the pattern paper..

Flying in Hyperspace

I had loads of fun creating this image again using pspaint ..it's like online journal ! 

I figured there are lots of benefits of making journal page on computer, obviously I could express my feelings as it's an art journal page and I could use it as a desktop wallpaper and I didn't waste any paint ! 

This is my version of 11 die mention hyperspace :D

Wall Hanging - Real Happiness

 I'm so excited to share the wall hanging that I completed today.  Actually, in this rainy season I wanted to make something bright and yellow.

All flowers are handmade.. 

 I did paint the edges with white acrylic paint, stamped some dots in black color then layered pattern paper..

The white cardboard frame is handmade too..

Added some laces and project is complete!

Make a Wish

This is make a wish birthday card, I reused the paper pack packaging to make these banners. Added a sticker on top of the banners and sentiment below is handwritten.

This one is a typical girly card, I tried to use the pastel colors matching the dresses in the sticker.  

Awesome Elephant

Elephants are so huge yet they are so cute and they look awesome on cards.  I made two elephant cards, simply to appreciate some awesome people

I have printed the elephant image directly onto pattern paper and fussy cut it.
